Yan Wo Thai

An easy-going place for northern Thai food.

The ones I remember are the stir-fried malinjo leaves with egg, the tom yum, and the soft-shell crab curry. In the stir-fry, the gentle bitterness of the greens meets soft, fluffy egg. The tom yum is fragrant and goes down easily. The soft-shell crab curry wraps crisp crab in a mellow curry that keeps you reaching for more rice.

It was opened a few doors down by Yan Wo, a neighbourhood spot known for good, affordable Chinese food.
