A yakiniku restaurant centred on rare cuts of Kuroge wagyu, on the 3rd floor of the WOLO Kuala Lumpur hotel in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
Here you can enjoy superb wagyu to your heart's content. Every plate was unforgettable, and the quality of the meat really came through. It was very good. The restaurant's signature is an omakase course of 8 to 14 dishes using A5-grade wagyu. Personally, I preferred the Damansara Heights shop, the first one in Malaysia.
It was founded in 2004, and the founder, Shoji Tsugawa, is from Kawasaki. It carries on the Kawasaki sauce he grew up eating in his hometown. The Kuroge wagyu is chosen with their own eyes every week at the Shibaura meat market in Tokyo, and bought there.
A yakiniku place I'd pick for a slightly special night around a table of fine wagyu.
