A Balinese restaurant in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya. It opened in 2009 in a shoplot, with tables and chairs on the ground floor and, upstairs, local-style “lesehan” seating, where you sit cross-legged on the floor around low tables.

Even the chilli isn't hot, so the food is easy to eat.

The name “Uma” is said to mean rice field in Balinese. Popular dishes include bebek betutu, a steamed duck dish, and crispy fried duck.

A place I find myself wanting to go whenever I feel like Indonesian food.
