Tap Room KL (Bamboo Hills)

A gastro bar with its own craft beer brewery, inside the green surroundings of Bamboo Hills in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur.

Here you can enjoy a wide range of dishes in a stylish space. Every plate goes well with a drink. The signature is the truffle pizza. The pizzas are made by Pizza Duo, the in-house pizzeria, Neapolitan-style and baked in an oven made by Italy's Stefano Ferrara. The most popular, the "Shroomami", is a pizza that pairs mushrooms and ricotta with a truffle sauce.

It opened in early 2023, and houses the brewery of Paperkite, a craft beer born in Malaysia. Paperkite won a Gold medal at the 2023 World Beer Awards. The glass-roofed building seats up to 500, and stands beside a bamboo grove and a waterfall.

A place I'd pick for a night of taking it easy with a beer or a cocktail in hand.
