I ordered the chicken barbecue. The flavour was gentle and easy to eat. The soup was good too, and went well with the grilled meat. You grill at the table, so it's an easy place to sit, talk and take your time.
A Korean restaurant that opened in 2024. The name, 팔계옥 (Pal Gae Ook), means "eight chicken house", a nod to the many different chicken cuts used across the menu. It's run by a Korean founder with a Korean chef who holds formal certifications in Korean cuisine, and it's a pork-free barbecue place. It later opened a second shop in Suria KLCC.
A place I'd pick for a relaxed barbecue night with family or friends.
