Hing Kee Bakuteh (RHB Branch)
My note
3.89
★★★★☆
If you're having bak kut teh, start here.
Order both the dry and the soup. The soup is mild, with a gentle scent of herbs. In the dry version, a reduced sauce clings to the meat, rich and deep. For the dipping dish, add a little chopped garlic and chilli, then a splash of dark soy and light soy, and make it your own. Dip the meat in it, and it's very good.
Hing Kee's main shop, also in Kepong, has been named a Bib Gourmand by the MICHELIN Guide.
Whenever I want bak kut teh, I come here without a second thought.
