HAN Modern Korean Grill (Menara Hap Seng)

A modern Korean barbecue restaurant in Menara Hap Seng, an office tower on Jalan P. Ramlee in central Kuala Lumpur.

You can take your time over beef, Korean barbecue style. The signature is Australian wagyu striploin, flown in. There are also aged tenderloin and ribeye, boneless short ribs and more. The staff grill the meat for you at the table.

The dining room is spacious at about 4,500 square feet, with plenty of room between tables. Besides the barbecue there are Korean dishes too, such as cold noodles, seafood pancake and seasonal side dishes (banchan). To drink, there's beer and soju, as well as wine, whisky and Japanese sake.

A place I'd pick for a lively night gathered around the grill with friends.
