A French restaurant on the 41st floor of the Alila Bangsar hotel in Brickfields, KL. It sits high above the city, and the KL skyline spreads out beyond the windows.
The best thing about this place is how high the quality is across every dish. From the starters to the mains, everything was properly good, and I enjoyed the meal right to the end. The staff were warm and pleasant too, which made the whole evening comfortable. With both the food and the service in place, it's ideal for a day when you want to take your time over a meal.
The kitchen is led by French head chef Romain Fabre. The executive chef is Fukuoka-born Masashi Horiuchi, the same chef behind Potager. The cooking is French with a touch of Japanese finesse, and the restaurant is listed in the MICHELIN Guide.
